Pakistan's Foreign Office has said that it is important that the country holds uninterrupted and result oriented talks with India.

According to the Dawn, India and Pakistan had agreed during Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's visit last week on resuming the dialogue on contentious issues in their relationship after a break of two years.

The spokesperson said that it is important to make sustained efforts to realise the shared vision of the leadership of the two countries of a peaceful and stable South Asia.

The spokesperson also talked about Pakistan's facilitation of Afghan dialogue saying that all four countries (Pakistan, US, China and Afghanistan) will be working together to chalk out the way forward.
