The Cricket Association for the Blind in India has announced the 17-member team for the 5th ODI World Cup for the blind which will be hosted by Pakistan and Dubai.
Apart from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Australia and South Africa are the other participating nations in the event which will held early next year from January 7-21.
However, India's participation comes under doubt in the tournament, given the political tension between the two neighbours.
It now depends on the Government of India whether it permits the team for the World Cup.
The team is supposed to leave for Pakistan on January 5 for the event after undergoing a month-long training in Bangalore.
