Pakistan: 10 killed, several injured in Peshawar bus explosion

At least 10 people were killed and several injured as an explosion ripped through a bus carrying government officials in Peshawar on Wednesday.

The blast was in a bus carrying employees of Civil Secretariat, government officials coming from Mardan.

"The top part of the bus has blown off and is being cut to pull out the injured," an eye witness told The Express Tribune.

Meanwhile, rescue officials and security teams have reached the scene as residents of the area shifted the injured in their cars to the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).
