Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has insisted that they are fully aware of the conspiracies which are being hatched against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
General Bajwa, during his visit to the Special Security Division (SSD) on Saturday, said the security forces were fully prepared to foil the nefarious designs of the enemy, reports Express Tribune.
Reiterating the army's commitment to ensure security for CPEC and the workforce involved, General Bajwa underscored the value attached to the Chinese help and assistance extended in making these projects a success.
During the visit, the COAS was given a detailed briefing on the Integrated Security Mechanism led by the Special Security Division (SSD).
He appreciated SSD for their state of preparedness and arrangements for the execution of the assigned mission and tasks.
The Army chief also met with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) champions Peshawar Zalmi at the General Headquarters, and congratulated the team and the management on their performance and success, the Inter-Services Public Relations said in a press release.
He appreciated all the teams and the management of PSL for bringing back cricket to the country.
"Pakistan is a peace loving country. Cricket is the most favourite game in the country and a binding force for the nation," he said.
