Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that the country needs an operation "Zarb-e-Qalam" besides anti-terror operation Zarb-e-Azb to fight its ongoing war on terror.
"We need a Zarb-e-Qalam beside Zarb-e-Azb," the Express Tribune quoted, Sharif, as saying.
Sharif was addressing 4th International Conference on Language, Literature and Society at the Convention Centre in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said the operation Zarb-e-Azb had broken the backbone of terrorists and vowed to turn the country into a hub of peace by eliminating terrorism.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also announced a Rs. 500 million endowment fund for the National History and Literary Heritage Division.
