England bowler Monty Panesar has reportedly offered an apology for urinating on bouncers who had thrown him out from a nightclub, for which he was fined 153 dollars on charges of being drunk and disorderly.
According to The Sun, the spinner, who was partying at Shooshh club in Brighton, was asked to leave when a group of women complained to security that he was harassing them, following which Panesar walked up to the promenade above the nightclub and urinated on the bouncers.
The report further said that the men then chased Panesar and brought him back to the club, where police fined him 153 dollars.
However, a spokesman for Panesar said that the cricketer would like to apologise unreservedly for any offence caused.
Panesar was chosen in the England squad for the third Test in Manchester but did not play, the report added.
