Actor Pankaj Tripathi recently tweeted a posted asking his fans to vote in the first phase of polling which begins from April 11.
The actor took to his twitter handle and posted:
"dost kl 11 aprail ko phle crnn kaa mtdaan hai / vott dene jruur jaaeN / paaNc saal vaad, vivaad, aalocnaa, sraahnaa vgairh se khii jyaadaa prbhaavshaalii aur smjhdaarii hai kl jaakr apnaa mtdaan krnaa / raassttrnirmaann meN yogdaan hai mtdaan / "
("Friends tomorrow April 11 is the first phase of polling for the Lok Sabha Elections. More than five years of debate, discussion, criticism, appreciation etc is impactful and rational decision to go and vote tomorrow. Voting is essential for nation building")
Over the years his roles in Nil Battery Sannata, Masaan and Bareily ki Barfi has overshadowed his image as a 'villain', and his versatility has been deeply appreciated by viewers and the film fraternity.
The actor is currently busy with his latest film 'The Tashkent Files' which is a murder mystery based on the mysterious death of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. The film is set to hit the theatres on April 12.
