Actors Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur have announced plans to promote their upcoming film, Daawat-e-Ishq (Feast of love) via a food trip across the country.
Speaking about it, Chopra said the movie marketing team of the movie had not informed them of the places they are likely to visit and is keeping the entire trip a surprise.
"So we are here today, Aditya and I, to announce that we are going on a food trip which is almost similar to a road trip. We are leaving from Bombay and we are going all the way to Chandigarh on a food trip on which, wherever we are on any day, based on your suggestion, we will be trying the special things of that particular region. So we are going all over India," she said.
Both Chopra and Kapur said they enjoyed shooting of the film and had a great time eating various types of food throughout the movie.
Chopra even added that it was a clean film and could be seen with the whole family without embarrassment.
"We have made a family film. And I, after a long time, can say very confidently that you can come with your whole family for my film. So, very proudly, I am saying, bring everyone," she added.
'Daawat-e-Ishq' is directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
It features actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles.
The music of the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 19.
