Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday paid floral tributes to martyr Anmol Pratap Singh, who was among the four soldiers killed in an avalanche in Chang La pass in Ladakh.

The minister also met Singh's family.

"We will try to provide as much help to the family as possible. The wife will be allotted compensation," Parrikar said.

Four Army personnel were killed as their vehicle got buried under a huge avalanche in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir on April 5.
