Patriotic songs, free rides for DTC commuters on I-Day

Commuters travelling on Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses will travel for free on Independence Day, according to news agencies.

All commuters travelling between 6am and 10am across the city on August 15 will be allowed to travel without paying, reports state. Also, the DTC will increase the frequency of bus routes to ease the travel to the Red Fort for the Independence Day celebrations.

Reports also state that the entire fleet of DTC buses, both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned, will play patriotic songs on August 15.
