The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed allegations of unfair play in the domestic match played between the Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins on February 11 during the Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cup 2013-14.

The three-member PCB which gave the ruling committee consisted of General Manager Domestic Cricket Operations Shafiq Ahmed, Senior Manger Security and Anti-Corruption, Lt Col9 (retd) Wasim Ahmed Shahid and an independent Cricketer, Mr. Ali Naqvi.

According to the Express Tribune, the investigation involved hearings from former Test cricketer Basit Ali, Sialkot players, support staff and match officials but due to insufficient evidence to support the claim, the committee dismissed the allegation.

According to the Express Tribune, the PCB committee agreed that matter would be open to re-examination if new evidence surfaced in the future, the report added.
