Peaches Geldof was too fragile from the drastic diets she was on to fight a single drug hit, it has been revealed.

A US-based friend said that the 25-year-old beauty, who had been trying to stay drug-free, might have injected only a single dose of heroin, but the hit may have proved too strong for her frail body, the Daily Star reported.

The mother-of-two had boasted about beating her drugs demons in the months before her sudden death and had lost a lot of weight in the process, added her pals.

Kent Police recently confirmed that the model had heroin in her system when she died and have started a criminal investigation to find out where the drug came from.
