Manchester City football team manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that they are not a mess or a disaster ahead of their Premier League derby on Sunday against Manchester United, despite their dramatic fall to the fourth place in the table.
City go into Sunday's derby having accumulated just 18 points from 36 this year, which has resulted in them falling to the fourth place from the second.
Despite that poor run, Pellegrini claimed that City's players are still behind him and insisted he does not fear the sack at the end of the season. He said that he understands that they are not having the results that they need playing away and 2015 is not a good year for them.
Pellegrini said that before that City was the best team playing away, adding that they lost the last three games, but they hope they can continue keeping the good things they are doing because they are not a disaster, they are not a mess, The Mirror reported.
Pellegrini also said that he does not fear losing his job and claimed that the players remain behind him, despite City's poor run of results. He said that he is so sure because he has experience, adding that one knows when a squad is behind them, when they are working and one knows when they work well or work bad.
