Pete Wentz recently opened up his divorce from Ashlee Simpson in 2011 adding that they would be together forever.
In an interview with Howard Stern, the 35-year-old musician said that when one is really committed to somebody, one knows that one is going to be with them, whether a ring changes that or not and it's important to the kids, Us Magazine reported.
The American musician asserted that at 31, they had all these great years as a band, and then they took time off, and he basically became Mr. Mom.
Wentz continued that it was the first time where he was like, no one is really taking his picture and he was basically hanging out with his kid all day.
Wentz added that when one stops caring about their personal appearance, personal hygiene, it makes one even more depressed, but it makes one do it more.
Simpson has already remarried with Evan Ross tied the knot back in August 2014.
