Petrol price cut by one rupee 82 paise per litre; diesel hiked by 50 paise per litre

Petrol prices has been cut by 1 rupee and 82 paise a litre while diesel prices hiked by 50 paise per litre on Saturday. The new rates will be effective from midnight tonight.

According to media reports reduction in petrol price was attributed due to the downward trend seen in international petrol prices.

The rates of non-subsidized LPG have also been reduced by 19 rupees per cylinder.
