Australian captain George Bailey has insisted that his team was capable of picking itself up for the third one-day international clash against India in Mohali on Saturday despite their deflating second ODI loss in Jaipur on Wednesday.

India comfortably went past a mammoth 360 set by Australia to a nine-wicket victory with 39 balls to spare, with Rohit Sharma (141 not out) and Virat Kohli (100 not out) scoring spectacular centuries to go with Shikhar Dhawan's 95.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Bailey, however, was philosophical even though India stunned his men to level the ODI series, saying that even though they were deflated following the defeat, they had batted 'beautifully' in two games in a row and bowled perfectly in one game.

Stating that no consolation is necessary for his men, Bailey further said that his team would bounce back with the new wickets and conditions in the third ODI in Mohali.

However, the skipper hailed India, saying that the hosts batted beautifully in Jaipur, despite a poor bowling, with the full ones going over their (Australia) head and the short ones going over the side fence.
