Ekaterina Parkhomenko, a girl living near the MH17 crash site in Ukraine, has reportedly hogged headlines since she bragged about her mascara which was looted from the spot where the Boeing 777 aircraft went down, on Instagram.
According to The Daily Star, Parkhomenko, who calls herself zolotsova on Instagram, wrote on the social networking website that she has got a mascara from Amsterdam, or rather from the field. She then asked her followers to guess what could the phrase, "from the field," possible mean.
The report also added that she did not collect the mascara from the crash site herself but got it from a familiar friend. She lives in the pro-Russian enclave of Torez near the crash scene.
Her post has sparked outrage worldwide and has substantiated doubts of drunken militants looting dead bodies and the luggage at the site of the crash.
Meanwhile, Ekaterina deleted the page after it sparked a backlash.
