Former skipper Kevin Pietersen has praised England for their 241-run victory against South Africa in the Kingsmead Test in Durban on Wednesday.
Pietersen, who played 104 Tests for England, took to Twitter to congratulate the visitors, particularly Nick Compton, for scoring 134 in his first match in South Africa,Sport24 reported.
"That's a quite brilliant display from @englandcricket in Durban! I'm most happiest for the return & batting of, @thecompdog," the 35-year-old tweeted.
With the win, England have taken 1-0 lead in the series. The second Test of the four-match series against South Africa will be played at Newlands from Saturday.
