Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has expressed to offer his services as a coach to British schools in view of declining cricket participation levels among children.
Pietersen, England's all-time leading run-scorer believes that England has lot of talented kids and they needs to be encouraged to play cricket. Alarmed by the declining percentage, Pietersen stated that he is willing to provide winter training to British schools, Sport24 reported.
According to a survey, released by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), there has been a seven percent decline in cricket participation among children aged 14 and under.
Pietersen's England career came to an end in February when he was jettisoned by the ECB.
