Jimmy Anderson has reportedly said that Kevin Pietersen's England career is definitely over.

Calling Pietersen an amazing player, Anderson said that it was "a shame" but there is no "way back" for him after what has been said, reported The Mirror.

Echoing his skipper Alastair Cook's sentiments, Anderson, who is set to break Sir Ian Botham's record of 383 Test wickets for England in the West Indies next year, admitted that Pietersen's autobiography had cast a cloud over a largely successful era for English cricket.

Pietersen alleged in his autobiography, which was released last week, that the wicketkeeper Matt Prior and senior bowlers Jimmy Anderson, Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann bullied teammates to apologize for misfields and dropped catches during matches.
