The Kevin Pietersen's management have already set in motion the bidding war for a tell all truth of his tumultuous nine years as an England player.

Pietersen side of story could come in a book form, proving to be a Christmas bestseller, even if the contents might not please everyone at the England and Wales board.

Pietersen's exclusion from the England side has caused up roar as many fans questioned his exclusion, The Daily Express reports.

Lawyers on both sides are confident they can sign off on the remainder of his central contract, but the reasons for the split that has rocked English cricket look set to remain under wraps until the end of September, when Pietersen's contract with the ECB expires.

Sources close to the negotiations suggest the ECB's difficulty is compounded by the fact the decision to part company with Pietersen was not because of a specific incident but driven by the desire to allow Alaistair Cook a fresh chance to rebuild his team.

New managing director Paul Downton wants Cook to have every chance to impose his character on the side without the possibility of disruptions or distractions from Pietersen.
