A friend of Oscar Pistorius, who testified in the murder trail of model Reeva Steenkamp, has said that the Paralympic sprinter had a 'big love' for guns.
The Blade Runner continued to deny killing his girlfriend Steenkamp on the early hours of Valentine's Day last year and says he mistook her for a burglar.
According to the BBC, the testimony of Darren Fresco, a 'close friend' of Pistorius, has given a glimpse into the seemingly fast life enjoyed by the Paralympic champion, which indicated that Pistorius had a love for guns, sports cars, beautiful women and a disregard for the police.
Fresco claimed that Pistorius had made him take the blame for a restaurant shooting incident, and added that on another occasion, he had been driving when Pistorius fired a gun out of a sunroof of a car after police stopped him for speeding.
The report mentioned that Pistorius' fate will ultimately be decided by the judge, assisted by two assessors and if found guilty, the Blade Runner could face life imprisonment.
