Union Minister Uma Bharti today said that the parameters implemented to clean River Ganga will also be applicable to other rivers.
She also said that their plans to make River Ganga clean cannot be made possible without a jan andolan or people's revolution.
Bharti said that there would be a group of secretaries from the Tourism, Environment, Shipping and Water Resource Ministry.
She said, "This group would time and again talk about river development and Ganga rejuvenation. And whenever they want to consult about something they will talk to the respective ministry."
The Water Resource Minister would be the convener of the group of secretaries, Bharti added.
