Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with several ministers to discuss the possible impact of a weak monsoon and price rise, especially, of essential commodities among other issues here today.
The meeting was attended by Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Ananth Kumar, Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti besides Minister of Sate Santosh Gangwar and lasted for around three hours.
The ministers briefed Mr. Modi about the prevailing food price and monsoon situation besides reforms in Public Distribution System.
