Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj arrived here on Wednesday for the parliamentary party meeting.
The meeting comes as the government seeks to firms its strategy for the monsoon session which was rocked by the Lalit Modi episode on the opening day.
The Rajya Sabha was adjourned four times, as the Congress continued to insist on the resignation of the Swaraj for her alleged involvement in helping Lalit Modi.
Later, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu slammed the opposition, saying it is not ready for a discussion over Swaraj's resignation and is only interested in 'mud-slinging'.
