Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday talked about good health ahead of World Health Day on April 7, adding India will be healthy if its citizens are healthy.

Prime Minister Modi, who was addressing the nation in the 18th edition of his 'Mann Ki Baat' programme, said the World Health Day is dedicated to diabetes this year.

"Our lifestyle is the biggest reason of rising cases of diabetes. A few days ago there was TB day. To fight TB you need correct and complete treatment. World TB day was observed on 24th March. We are not scared of this disease anymore because we know that it is curable," he said.

"In a few days new Vikram Samvat will begin, I wish everyone Happy New Year. It is fortunate for me that I will get a chance to go to Baba Saheb Ambedkar's birth place Mhow (MP) on April 14th," he added.
