Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took to Twitter to express grief over the bus accident in Himachal Pradesh's Simla which killed 28 people and left nine injured.
"My thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones in the tragic bus accident. May those injured recover quickly," Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
Earlier in the day, a private bus enroute Solan rolled down a deep gorge near Rampur.
The incident took place around 9.15 a.m. when the bus, carrying around 40 passengers, rolled down from the National Highway 5 connecting Simla to Kinnaur.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) had reached the spot.
