Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is snatching a farmer's mother in the form of his land.
"A farmer has two mothers-his own mother and his land. Modi is snatching farmer's mother," Rahul said while addressing the farmers at the 'Kisan Mazdoor Samman Rally' at the Ramlila Ground here.
"This is not the fight of the land of the farmers, this is the fight for honour and respect of the farmers," he said.
Gandhi further said the farmers of this nation are today scared and weak.
"And Modi ji wants them to be weak," he added while asserting that the BJP-led NDA Government is least concerned about the farmers.
