Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, interacted with Indian students upon his arrival to the City Hall.
The Prime Minister clicked photographs and signed autographs for the Indian students. He was given a great reception, with the students chanting "Modi, Modi!" while he gave his speech thereafter.
During his visit to Germany, Prime Minister Modi will be present at the opening ceremony of the 2015 edition of the Hannover Messe business fair, for which India is the partner country.
He will later unveil a bust of Mahatma Gandhi in Hannover, before holding talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
On Monday, the Prime Minister, along with Chancellor Merkel, will jointly open the India pavilion at the Hannover Messe, before travelling to Berlin to visit the Siemens Technical Academy and meeting German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel.
On Tuesday, the final day of his stay in Berlin, Prime Minister Modi will receive a ceremonial welcome by Chancellor Merkel at the Federal Chancellery. Later, he will visit a model railway station in the city, before flying for Ottawa for the final leg of his tour.
