PM Modi meets trainee IPS officers of 2014 batch

Over 100 officer Trainees of the 2014 batch of the Indian Police Service(IPS), on Wednesday called on the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at his 7 Race Course Road residence.

Interacting with the Officer Trainees, the Prime Minister said that their uniform was a symbol of power, and they should ensure that this 'power' is used to 'empower' the common man.

He said that they have the rare opportunity to work for the country, and there should be no compromise on their commitment.
