Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the concluding session of the Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive meet in New Delhi today.
The Prime Minister had attended the opening day of the meet yesterday in which the party unanimously passed a resolution titled 'Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday'.
Party leader and Union Minister Ananth Kumar said the resolution was moved by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and that the National Executive also hailed the Union Budget 2016-17 saying that it is focusing on rural and agriculture sector.
Party President Amit Shah delivered the inaugural address of the meet.
Giving the take aways from the address, party leader and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, BJP has high respects for fair criticism against it, its leaders and its government, but it will not tolerate any kind of criticism of the nation.
Quoting the BJP President, Prasad said, the anti-national slogans raised in the JNU campus are condemnable and that Shah questioned those who criticised BJP for allegedly suppressing the freedom of expression.
The Party President asserted that anti-India activities cannot be justified in the name of freedom of expression.
