Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday was called upon a delegation from Takhat Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib and extended him an invitation to attend regarding 350th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Gobind Singh taking in January 2017.
Gladly accepting the invitation, the Prime Minister conveyed to the delegation that the Centre would look to work with the Bihar State Government regarding long term development plans beneficial to Patna residents.
The delegation included President of the Takhat Prabhandak Committee Avtar Singh Makkar and other Committee leaders, besides Projects Director of GNNSJ India, the charitable organisation responsible for the major beautification, restoration and conservation work taking place to prepare the Takaht for the sacred celebrations.
