Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand to come up in large number to cast their votes as both the states enter their first phase of assembly elections.
"As polls begin in J andK and Jharkhand, I urge my sisters and brothers in these States to go out and vote in large numbers," tweeted the Prime Minister.
"I particularly call upon my young friends in J andK and Jharkhand to turnout in large numbers and cast their votes," he further tweeted.
Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand entered their first phase of assembly elections with people gathering in large number to cast their votes in Ganderbal, Bandipore, Doda, Gumla and Latehar districts.
