Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday wished Qatar on that country's national day.
The Prime Minister took to twitter to extend his wishes.
"On Qatar National Day, my greetings to the citizens of Qatar. I am very optimistic about stronger cooperation with Qatar in the coming years," he wrote.
India and Qatar have a long history of friendly relations, which are marked by close and multi-dimensional commercial ties and people-to-people contacts. The large Indian community acts as a catalyst for enhanced ties across the spectrum of bilateral relations.
