Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended wishes to The Bahamas on their National Day.
The official twitter account of the Prime Minister's Office shared his message.
"On the Independence Day of The Bahamas, my greetings & good wishes to the people of The Bahamas: PM @narendramodi," the office posted.
"We cherish our warm relations with The Bahamas & see a great scope for expanding our ties which can benefit our people: PM @narendramodi," the office added.
The Bahamas observe July 10 as the National Day to commemorate the nation's independence from the United Kingdom in 1973.
