Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who stayed at the Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) guest house during his two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, on Saturday said that the stay in the DLW guest house brought back memories of his childhood, when he had been closely associated with trains and railway stations.
Writing in the guest house visitor's book, the Prime Minister recalled passengers and railway carriages, and stated that this was an emotional experience for him. He also thanked the 'hard-working' people at the DLW, adding that he would keep visiting the premises.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his parliamentary constituency for the first time after taking charge in New Delhi.
