Taxi aggregator Ola on Friday announced its tie-up with Pocket Aces to provide a wide range of digital content to Ola's connected ridesharing platform, Ola Play.

The premium content from Pocket Aces will include short videos from their flagship channel FilterCopy, hugely popular web series Little Things and Not Fit from Dice Media, and food videos from Gobble. Not Fit was also the first web series to play on television - it did three successful runs on NDTV Prime earlier this year.

Pocket Aces is the creator of some of the most popular content for Indian audiences on the internet today. The company reaches 25 million people on a weekly basis across its social properties, and the most recent report by video analytics firm Vidooly states that FilterCopy amassed over 29 million video views in the month of February alone.

"We're excited to be an early partner with Ola Play and enable audiences to consume high quality content on-the-go without exhausting their data plans. Our goal is to give our content and our brand partners as much reach as possible and are in conversations with several global OTT players and television channels to syndicate our content," said co-founder Pocket Aces, Aditi Shrivastava.

"We are extremely excited to partner with Pocket Aces to enable Ola Play users' access to high quality content," said Sr. Director and Head Ola Play, Ankit Jain.

Ola Play allows partners such as Apple Music, Sony LIV, AIB, TVF, Audio Compass and Fynd, to build a high quality interactive experience for users.

It is available to all Prime Play customers in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi and now in Hyderabad and will soon be rolled out to all Ola's offerings in Tier I cities.
