Police arrest remaining 3 suspects in Kunming massacre in China

The Chinese police have reportedly arrested three remaining suspects wanted in connection with mass killings in Kunming that shook the nation recently, the Ministry of Public Security said on Monday.

In the terrorist attack that took place at Kunming Railway Station in Yunnan province, a group of eight terrorists attacked people with large knives killing 29 and injuring140.

According to China Daily, four male suspects were shot dead and one woman was arrested at the scene, while the remaining two men and one woman were arrested on Monday afternoon, police said.

Nayim Yasen, a deputy from the Xinjiang delegation to the National People's Congress said that China urgently needs a comprehensive national law to combat terrorist attacks, as threats from terrorists, especially those based in Central Asia, have become extremely serious.
