An armed robbery suspect has been caught despite the "worst police sketch ever" as a lead.

The police arrested Glenn Edwin Rundles, who looks nothing like the sketch, after being wanted on suspicion of robbing two women at knifepoint in Texas, , the Daily Star reported.

The police had issued a spectacularly bad e-fit of their suspect, which looked like a cartoon, but had added that the sketch is "not a true depiction of the suspect, only a likeness".
