Police personnel killed in IED blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh

A police personnel was killed in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur District on Thursday morning.

Earlier this morning, an IED blast took place 600 meters away from a CRPF battalion in the state's Sukma District.

Meanwhile, 61 members of Katekalyan area committee also surrendered before state police recently, among whom was a wanted militant named Fudo madkami, who carried a reward of Rs. three lakh on his head.
