Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the poor of the country must use the facilities available in banks.
"Opening the doors of banks was not enough for us. We want the poor to make use of the facilities that the banks have to offer. We are empowering people for whom banks were shut, the people who never imagined they would be free from clutches of sahukars," Prime Minister Modi said while addressing a rally in Dumka of Jharkhand.
"The atmosphere here indicates how Jharkhand has come full circle on the path of development," he added.
