The husband of Indian woman consultant Prabha Arun Kumar is believed to have heard her murder when he was over the phone with his wife as she was stabbed to death in Sydney, a mere 300 metres from her home.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the woman was on the phone with her husband when the killer struck her following which she started screaming for help.
Information technology and outsourcing company Mindtree on Sunday dubbed the stabbing of its Indian employee in Sydney as 'extremely unfortunate' and 'shocking'.
Prabha Arun Kumar was stabbed to death in Sydney on Saturday night.
