Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Adlington is expecting her first child with husband Harry Needs and she has revealed that she wants to have a water birth.
The 25-year-old swimmer, who married Needs only 3 months back, told Hello! Magazine that she was due in June, and hence must have conceived on the first day of their honeymoon in Venice, the Mirror reported.
Needs, who too is a swimmer, jokingly added that they were not the "Beckhams" and won't name their baby Venice.
The Olympic star added a water birth was her first priority as some her pals had recommended it and she too wanted to have the birth to be as natural as possible.
Adlington said that she was glad that her first scan showed "everything was OK" with the baby, adding that since she was looking after the baby, her husband was "more excited", but she was "more nervous.
