President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday extended his greetings and felicitations to Bangladesh on the eve of the People's Republic's National Day.
President Mukherjee, in his message to his Bangladeshi counterpart Abdul Hamid, expressed his confidence in the expanding cooperation between New Delhi and Dhaka.
"On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to you and to the people of Bangladesh our warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day," President Mukherjee's message read.
"I recall with great pleasure our meeting during your visit to India in December 2014. I am confident that the relationship between our two countries would continue to grow and expand to include new areas of cooperation in a mutually beneficial manner," the message added.
