Prince Charles, who is a committed environmentalist, has branded people who do not pay heed to the growing global warming as "headless chickens".

While praising the finalists of the Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize, the 65-year-old royal thanked them for ignoring the headless chicken brigade and doing something practical to help the environment, News24 reported.

Charles added that it is baffling that people are ready to accept whatever science tells them about everything until it comes to climate science.
