Prince Harry has said that they are just three-and-a-half day away from their destination, and that he cannot wait to reach the South Pole as the charity trek nears to an end.
The 29-year-old royal said that everyone is in really high spirits and it is nice to see everybody intermingling with each other, not only every night because they camp together but also during the day, Sky News reported.
With the trekkers now 28 miles from the South Pole, Harry said that people are starting to enjoy the trek and it also gives them a good chance to consider how they feel and to think about friends at home, fellow friends who are also injured.
Earlier the South Pole charity trek involving Prince Harry and his fellow Walking With The Wounded expedition competitors had been suspended for safety reasons.
