BJP general secretary Ram Madhav on Friday said that waving of Pakistani flags in Jammu and Kashmir is an attempt by the pro-Pakistan forces to destabilize the state government.
"This is an attempt by pro-Pak forces to destabilize the Jammu and Kashmir Government. When such incidents take place, then law takes its own course," said Madhav.
Earlier on Wednesday, separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq's supporters raised Pakistani flags at a rally in Srinagar's old city area.
The rally was reportedly held on the eve of death anniversary of Farooq's father.
Separatist leader Masarat Alam had earlier sparked a controversy for raising of pro- Pakistan slogans at a rally attended by him on April 17.
Masarat Alam was later arrested in the case registered in the Budgam Police Station in connection with his provocative actions during the rally.
