Nobody knew Shia LaBeouf could rap until the Hollywood star appeared on a radio show and nailed those "syllables and pronouns".
The 30-year-old put his mic skills to the test when he visited SiriusXM Shade 45's 'Sway in the Morning' where he was asked to flex a bit of his wordplay for the airwaves, reports Billboard.com.
LaBeouf sings, "What I am is, I'm criminal with syllables and pronouns/ Watch how it goes down/ Yeah, my whole sound is profound/ Freestyle will sway you'd think I was a pro now and is pro now Shia LaBeouf/ I'm flying high."
'Shade 45' is an uncensored hip-hop channel created by Eminem along with 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and few other hip hop rappers.
The show's legendary 'Five Fingers of Death' segment determines an individual's freestyling abilities over five different beats.
"You like it because my life is real / It's like a highlight reel / Don't like me check Twitter to see how the zeitgeist feel," he wholeheartedly raps.
The actor, who was once touted as "the next Tom Hanks" even made light of the comparison in the rap singing, "I passed Tom Hanks' replacement."
And for those who aren't taking his newfound music career seriously, the 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' star has a message for you in the rap song.
"It's a dream yes sir I'm the belle of the ball / Never thought my rhymes was eligible / Rhymes are negligible unintelligible / Now I'm exceptional unquestionable no question I'm full / My cup runneth over this s**t is going viral."
The 10-minute long video of the whole segment is available online.
