Prysm, Inc., a digital workplace platform provider on Wednesday announced its partnership with Vega Global aimed at select countries in the Asia Pacific region, including India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines.

The agreement highlights Prysm's efforts to gain a larger share of the expanding collaboration market by increasing its multi-brand dealer base in the region.

Vega Technology Group entered the India market in 2010 to primarily focus on BFSI and multinational corporations. Under the leadership of Blessing E. Joseph, Director and Country Manager, Vega India is now considered as one of the largest AV providers in the market employing a total of 175 staffs. Headquartered in Mumbai, Vega currently operates in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur and Delhi.

"Adding leading channel partners is core to our strategy to increase our share in the growing APAC market. The decision to partner with Vega expands our reach and gives our customers the most innovative digital workplace transformation collaborative solutions available on the market," said GB Kumar, Vice President - APAC, Prysm Inc.

Prysm will continue to work with Vega on global and regional opportunities to further expand Prysm sales and support coverage in APAC.

"Vega and Prysm have a significant synergy and we're looking forward to what outcome this partnership will bring to both companies. Being aligned with Prysm and leveraging our strategic partnership with AVI-SPL, we are particularly focused on supporting this type of cutting edge collaboration technology as we see a strong demand from our multinational client base." said Matthew Deayton, Global Business Development Director, Vega Global.

The market in India is the perfect environment to launch this partnership given the country's role as the global centre of procurement and purchasing for many multinational businesses. This factor is one of the reasons to join this year's InfoComm India to showcase the joint market focus between Vega, AVI-SPL and Prysm.
