Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Sardar Ikramullah Gandapur, who died in a suicide attack in Dera Ismail Khan city, was laid to rest on Monday in his hometown Kulachi here.
The funeral prayers were offered at Kulachi's College Ground, earlier today, reported the Geo TV.
Gandapur, a former agriculture minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was killed on Sunday after his vehicle was targetted in a suicide attack in Kulachi.
He was rushed to Combined Military Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.
The PTI candidate was contesting the upcoming general election from PK-99 constituency.
On July 10, a bomb targeted a rally by the Awami National Party (ANP) in Peshawar, in which the local party leader Haroon Bilour lost his life.
Last week in Mastung blast, 149 people were killed, including Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Siraj Raisani, and left over 200 injured.
